On 15th of January 2022, a TV-contribution was broadcasted by the TV- station “Bayrischer Rundfunk”. The report is about the activities undertaken so far for the development of the debris flow early warning system INADEF EWS. It gave an overview on the example of an observed debris flow event at Bettelwurf (Halltal/Tyrol), the model, its stage of development and its potential to minimize the risks related to debris flows. The contribution was part of the knowledge broadcast “Gut zu wissen ” and is available in the Mediathek of the TV-station.
